Discovering Peace Within: Using Yoga, Breathwork and Mindfulness to Beat the Winter Blues

Following this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Utilize a variety of simple, experiential breathing techniques to calm the body and decease anxiety.
- Be able to use trauma sensitive yoga techniques to as a body based way of grounding and managing both anxiety and depression.
- incorporate several mindfulness practices to promote a sense of inner peace and wellbeing.
Our overall goal for this workshop will be to offer you a deep connection to yourself, alleviate symptoms of both anxiety and depression and send you home restored, grounded, and light!
Adults 18 and older who seek a renewed spirit and inner peace. For therapists attending this workshop, 4 CEU’s are available through NBCC at your request.
The cost for this workshop is $79.00 prior to the workshop and $99.00 at the door (if space permits.) No prior experience with yoga is necessary nor do you need a yoga mat for the activities.
